Paintings in the collection Looks travel to Barcelona

Barcelona. – The winning works in the contest Alió Foundation on display at the Reial Cercle Artistic until February.
The collection of the Fundación Jorge Alió with the winning works in the painting competition Looks into different categories will travel to Barcelona on January 20 to be displayed in the Reial Cercle Artistic this city, where they remained until 20 February.
This event takes place since 1998 and are already seven editions held on a biennial basis, in order to promote awareness of vision problems and blindness prevention. In the sample involved twenty artists who have been awarded in various editions, plus the work that won the award for best new artist in the last issue of 2010.
In Looks, participants offer their unique perspective on the importance of vision while Jorge Alió award celebrates the human values in the prevention of blindness. Also given an award for best novel artist, art student, an award for best new artist visually impaired and another for professional artistic work rewarding.
